The King Who Came to Serve | Matthew 20:17-34

What does it really look like to follow a King who came not to be served, but to serve?
In Matthew 20:17–34, Jesus is making His way toward the cross. Along the way, He teaches His disciples—and us—what His Kingdom is truly about. It’s not about position, recognition, or being first. It’s about sacrifice, serving others, and having our eyes opened to truly see and follow Jesus.
Join us for “The King Who Came to Serve” as we look at three truths from this passage:
1. The Sacrifice of the King (vv. 17–19)
2. The Service of the Kingdom (vv. 20–28)
3. The Sight to Follow the King (vv. 29–34)
May we not only see Jesus for who He is, but learn to follow the example of our King who came to serve.
